The best-selling Nissan in North America is coming back and promises to be better than ever as it welcomes in the new decade. The 2020 Nissan Sentra is a truly next-generation model, improving on a variety of aspects while still retaining the core of what makes this sedan so highly sought after.
Improved Performance
Arguably the most notable improvement that the 2020 Sentra makes over the previous year is the jump in performance. The standard engine is now an incredible fuel-efficient 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes a power output of 149 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque alongside a fuel economy of 29 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway. All-in-all, this is a 20 percent increase in horsepower and a 17 percent increase in torque over the 2019 model.
Handling also sees an uptick thanks to a slight redesign in its body. The Sentra now sits 2.2 inches lower and is 2.4 inches wider, creating a lower center of gravity to give Novi drivers more control over their drive.
