A More Powerful Engine

You'll find a more powerful 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine under the hood. For this year, horsepower has been bumped up to 122-horsepower from the previous version that offered 109 horsepower. It is easy to enjoy this new engine thanks to the added power and efficiency. You'll get a five-speed manual transmission standard, though you can opt for a continuously variable transmission if you would prefer it.

When it comes to efficiency, the 2020 Versa when paired with the continuously variable transmission, gets an EPA-estimated 32 mpg city and 40 mpg on the highway. The front-wheel drive Versa moves with ease and remains composed even when cornering or braking hard.

The Versa comes standard with forward collision warning, forward and reverse automatic braking, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, automatic high beams, and a rearview camera. This means you don't have to spend extra to get the modern safety features that new sedans offer you. You can add extra features like blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, a rear-seat reminder, adaptive cruise control, and more.
